Emma is getting so big. She is about 8 1/2 months old and starting to put some meat on her bones. Her coat is getting thicker and it is so soft. She has become my best bud and follows me everywhere.

Emma is a 4 month old Golden Retriever Rescue that had been abandoned and left in a cage outside the humane society. I adopted her on June 23, 2008, and will be recording our adventures both good and bad over the coming years.

Just Beautiful...I remember watching my Old Golden develop over a couple of years...So worth waiting and watching...Lovely coats & as you say the meat on their bones...The funny thing I thought was watching those LONG lanky awkard legs turn into a running machine...Your so Lucky to have such a Beauty and one of the MOST wonderful Breeds I know...
