Emma found a kitten in the back yard this morning. He or she weighs in at 10 ounces. We feel like it must be about 3 to 5 weeks old. So far no luck in finding it's mom. Emma is being a really good stepmom.

Emma is a 4 month old Golden Retriever Rescue that had been abandoned and left in a cage outside the humane society. I adopted her on June 23, 2008, and will be recording our adventures both good and bad over the coming years.
